Senior Business Controller
Dispelix is looking for an analytical and collaborative yet independent Senior Business Controller to strengthen our Finance capabilities. You will work as a controller for the whole organization, owning the day-to-day responsibilities for the internal reporting process, including monthly and quarterly profit reporting, budgeting and forecasting as well as acting as a finance business partner for all business units to drive the excellence of business performance.
The role is based in Espoo, and we have hybrid working model in use.
What you will do:
- Business partnering with a strong outside-in mindset, understanding the business logic and dependencies between key operational processes, relationships and metrics, as well as challenging the business leaders to strengthen decision-making and business performance.
- Monthly closing and reporting responsibility according to group schedules by preparing monthly financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheet, cash flow and key performance indicators.
- Responsibility for various tasks related to end-to-end financial processes such as budgeting, financial forecasting, financial modelling, process development and financial reporting.
- Ensuring that group reporting requirements are met and you will have freedom and independence to actively develop and maintain financial reporting and metrics.
Who we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in finance or controlling, preferably in a fast-paced or multinational environment.
- Strong proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting
- Strong analytical skills, and experienced user of consolidation, BI and excel – tools
- Self-driven and motivated way of working
- Good understanding of finance processes
- Willingness to get your hands dirty combined with the ability to think strategically.
A team player with good communication skills (Finnish and English).
Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
