Manufacturing Development
The Manufacturing Development team is committed to delivering extended reality to people through mass production and changing the world by making XR devices accessible to everybody.
The team ensures that the manufacturing processes of our waveguides meet mass production requirements and manages the production of sophisticated, high-quality, world-leading XR waveguides for high-volume consumer and high-value professional markets.
Their work takes a scientific approach, using engineering methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma and various data analysis tools. Working closely with suppliers, the team develops production processes using the best tools, methods, and partners.
This highly educated and skilled group comprises professionals with backgrounds in engineering and science, in particular photonics design and nanophotonics fabrication, as well as mass manufacturing experts. They apply their photonics substance knowledge and industrial skill set both with Lean Six Sigma and factory physics to overcome engineering challenges.
The ideal candidate
The Manufacturing Development team looks for commitment, diversity, and fresh thinking – people who can think differently and break through mental biases. A mindset of constant development that focuses on future production needs is vital for any candidate. While you don’t need to be an expert on day one, we expect you to possess the drive and willingness to become one.
