Quality Control/ Metrology
The Quality Control/Metrology team ensures that Dispelix’s products are best-in-class and that they meet the high quality standards that our customers expect.
Work involves a lot of problem solving in areas as diverse as software and hardware development, measurements, and process and operations improvement, as well as constant interaction with suppliers and partners.
The team is tasked with ensuring both the capacity and quality of our measurement capabilities in collaboration with our manufacturing partners, as well as developing new measurement tools and techniques for the characterization of custom waveguides, strengthening our expertise and position as a leader in the field.
The team’s work adapts to customer need in order to meet tough quality and user experience requirements while ensuring our capacity for mass manufacturing.
The team consists of Operators, Engineers and Senior Engineers from a highly diverse set of backgrounds. Team members work cross-functionally and interact with most other Dispelix teams. Quality control and user-experience studies are often performed together with process development.
The ideal candidate
The required education level and experience depend on the individual position. The QC/Metrology team hires candidates with a technical education up to PhDs with extensive experience in the industry. Candidates should have a background in physics – preferably optics, optoelectronics, or software and hardware development – or experience in metrology and quality control in industry.
We are looking for people who demonstrate the capability to learn and apply their skills to this relatively new field. Very good organization and prioritization skills are a plus and will help team members succeed in this environment.
